Felipe has been in real estate development in South Florida since 2013 leading the investment, diversification and expansion strategy of the family business currently based out Colombia. As a second generation developer backed by a business with a 40-year-long track record of success, Felipe has focused on acquiring properties with ground-up or value-add potential in the South Florida tri-county area. In nearly 10 years, Felipe has been able to successfully deliver over 200,000 square feet of residential real estate in Palm Beach and Broward counties.
Among Felipe’s primary roles are identification, underwriting, capitalization, acquisition and development of new investment opportunities. Since 2013, Felipe has successfully capitalized over $50 million in private equity and preferred debt across multiple projects in South Florida. Most recently, he led the acquisition, rezoning, and disposition of a 16-unit single-family home development site in Southwest Ranches; the development of Delray Beach’s first condominium building in over a decade, 111 First Delray composed of 68-unit luxury condos across 5-stories; and the development of an 11-unit luxury townhome community in Fort Lauderdale. Real estate properties in Felipe’s current pipeline are estimated to transact over $90 million.
